Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the IT budgeting process, ensuring adherence to financial policies and alignment with strategic goals.
- Analyze IT expenditures and asset utilization to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost savings.
- Lead the lifecycle management of IT assets, ensuring proper tracking, maintenance, and compliance.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for senior management, providing insights on budgeting and asset management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial processes and asset management systems.
- Manage vendor negotiations and evaluations to ensure best practices and value in IT asset acquisitions.
- Mentor and guide junior staff in IT financial operations and asset management processes.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field; MBA is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in IT financial management or asset management.
- Proven expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in financial modeling and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex information succinctly.
- Knowledge of IT asset management principles and tools, as well as relevant compliance standards.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CPA, or similar) are a plus.
