Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Responsible to provide all laptops / PC needed for new hiring.
- Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.
- Provide technical support to the employees and train non-technical workers on the business's information systems.
- Assess infrastructure on a regular basis to ensure it continues to meet necessary demand.
- Manage daily operations related to the scope of IT.
- Develop new strategies and IT procedures to increase efficiency, enhance workflow and improve internal customer satisfaction.
- Perform troubleshooting, repairs and data restoration.
- Install new applications and upgrade existing applications.
- Monitor and maintain network stability (LAN & WAN) and perform network troubleshooting to diagnose common network problems.
- Offer suggestions for possible upgrades and changes.
- Design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud solutions to support business operations.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability of all IT services.
- Lead the deployment and management of security protocols, firewalls, and data protection measures to safeguard company information.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and fulfill technology requirements for ongoing and upcoming construction projects.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls across various platforms and applications.
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software assets.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of proven experience in IT engineering or a similar role, preferably within the construction or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of network administration, server management, and virtualization technologies.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid work arrangement, demonstrating strong self-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with diverse teams.
- Experience with IT project management and system upgrades.
- Relevant industry certifications are a plus (e.g., CCNA, MCSA,CCNP, FortiGate, Hyper V, Etc ).
