Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of interior design concepts, material palettes, lighting intent, and FF&E selections that bring the architectural vision to life through thoughtful guest experiences.
  • Collaborate closely with the Design Director to ensure that interior finishes, mood, and spatial proportion align harmoniously with the overall architectural concept.
  • Develop detailed interior palettes, mood boards, and joinery design details that reflect the project’s design narrative and brand standards.
  • Coordinate with the 3D visualization team to ensure materials, lighting, and textures are represented accurately for high-fidelity renderings and presentations.
  • Source, evaluate, and document materials, finishes, and furnishings, ensuring quality, durability, and suitability for tropical and hospitality environments.
  • Establish and maintain an internal materials library and villa design standards to support consistent design quality and efficient project delivery.
  • Participate in design reviews and client presentations, clearly articulating design intent and rationale.
  • Collaborate with consultants, procurement teams, and contractors during the design development and documentation phases to ensure design integrity and implementation accuracy.
  • Stay updated with emerging trends, technologies, and sustainable practices in luxury hospitality interiors.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
  • 8–12 years of professional experience in hospitality or luxury resort interior design, ideally within tropical or coastal contexts.
  • Strong conceptual, aesthetic, and detailing skills with the ability to translate design intent into refined and buildable interiors.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite; experience with Enscape, Rhino, or Lumion is an advantage.
  • Excellent knowledge of materials, finishes, joinery detailing, and lighting coordination.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with proven ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines.
  • Demonstrated leadership in design coordination, with the capacity to manage multiple interior packages and project deadlines.
  • A portfolio showcasing elegant, well-detailed hospitality interiors that balance creativity, functionality, and guest comfort is essential.
