Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provides necessary support and input to the Worley Project Manager and team.
  • Represents Worley at internal & external meetings on the project.
  • Contributes to the development and implementation of Worley I&C systems and procedures for the project and performs work in accordance with Worley internal processes and procedures.
  • Coordinates effectively with other project personnel.
  • Completes reports of work performed accurately and on time.
  • Reports on project technical scope performance against the baseline plan.
  • Assists in ensuring that no technical changes are implemented without prior approval as per EPC contract procedure and regulatory requirements.
  • Performs work in adherence to the overall project execution plan and project quality plan.
  • Reviews design basis documents (Basic Design, Detailed Design) and calculations pertaining to vendor design.
  • Reviews the PSAR and FSAR for compliance with I&C Codes and Standards.
  • Reviews safety and hazard assessments.
  • Monitors construction of NPP s and associated structures; develops comments pertaining to non-compliance with design.
  • Reviews as-built design drawings and modifications.
  • Reviews, comments and prepares drafts of client correspondence pertaining to I&C engineering.

Desired Candidate Profile

Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in I&C, Electrical, Computer or Systems Engineering or equivalent is a must.
  • Strong technical skills; 8+ years of experience in I&C engineering on large scale projects with multi-cultural teams.
  • Experience in I&C Nuclear Russian Design is required.
  • Recognized as having a specialized depth or breadth of expertise.
  • Excellent report writing skills.

  • Ability to communicate, influence and persuade.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are essential, understanding of Russian is a plus.
  • Sound technical background.
  • Prudent use of confidential information.
  • Organized and disciplined, capability to plan and schedule tasks and events.
  • Ability to work and interact with multidiscipline teams.
