Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Component level repair of electronic systems and components used in various industrial applications, ensuring they meet operational requirements.
  • Testing and troubleshooting of electronic products like PCBs, AC-DC drives, VFDs, UPS, HMI, PLC etc. diagnosing faults quickly to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all electronic systems, including schematics, specifications, and service records, to ensure compliance and facilitate future repairs.
  • Provide technical support and training to junior technicians and operators, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, applying new knowledge to enhance existing systems and processes.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate electronic components and materials for projects, balancing cost, performance, and sustainability.
  • Implement preventive maintenance programs for electronic equipment, significantly reducing the risk of unexpected failures.
  • Assist in the development of safety protocols and procedures related to the use of electronic equipment in industrial environments.
  • Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring that electronic systems are developed and deployed on schedule and within budget.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electronics or instrumentation Engineering, ,
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in industrial electronics, showcasing a deep understanding of electronics operations.
  • Proficiency in using advanced diagnostic and testing equipment, ensuring accurate identification of issues in complex systems.
  • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of a second language is a plus to enhance communication in diverse environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects and mentor junior staff, showcasing strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to work in industrial environments..
