Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor HSE plans, procedures, and site-specific safety strategies in compliance with UAE laws and RTA / DM / Trakhees / ADNOC standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification (HAZID), and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for all critical activities.
  • Ensure strict compliance with HSE policies, safety protocols, method statements, and safe work practices.
  • Lead and conduct toolbox talks (TBT), safety briefings, and awareness campaigns.
  • Perform site safety inspections, audits, incident investigations, and root-cause analysis.
  • Ensure coordination between site teams, subcontractors, and consultants on all HSE-related matters.
  • Prepare and maintain HSE reports, safety statistics, incident logs, and documentation as per project requirements.
  • Ensure proper use, inspection, and maintenance of PPE, safety equipment, and emergency systems.
  • Support in developing Emergency Response Plans, evacuation drills, and HSE training programs.
  • Promote a strong safety culture across all levels of the site workforce.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Environmental Science / Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent.
  • Minimum 7–10 years of HSE experience in construction, preferably in: Roads & Infrastructure Bridges & Structures Utilities (Wet & Dry) RTA or government authority projects
  • Must hold certifications such as: NEBOSH IGC (Mandatory) IOSH / OSHA (added advantage) Lead Auditor ISO 45001 / 14001 (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of UAE safety regulations and local authority standards.
  • Excellent communication, reporting, leadership, and coordination skills.
