Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the project HSE plan in line with company policies, local regulations, and aviation authority requirements
• Ensure compliance with statutory HSE regulations, client requirements, and contractual obligations
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and environmental risks
• Monitor construction activities related to runway, taxiway, apron, and airside works to ensure safe execution
• Ensure correct use of PPE and adherence to approved method statements and risk assessments
• Coordinate safe work practices for high-risk activities including asphalt paving, concrete works, heavy lifting, night works, and airside operations
• Assist in preparation and review of risk assessments, job safety analysis, and method statements
• Identify hazards and ensure effective control measures are implemented and maintained
• Participate in task risk assessments and toolbox talks prior to critical activities
• Report, record, and investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions
• Prepare incident investigation reports and recommend corrective and preventive actions
• Monitor implementation and close-out of corrective actions
• Conduct HSE inductions for new employees, subcontractors, and visitors
• Deliver regular toolbox talks and safety awareness programs
• Promote a strong safety culture through continuous engagement with site teams
• Monitor environmental controls including waste management, dust suppression, noise control, spill prevention, and environmental protection measures
• Ensure compliance with approved environmental management plans
• Support initiatives aimed at reducing environmental impact during construction
• Assist with internal HSE audits and regulatory inspections
• Coordinate with client, consultant, and regulatory representatives during site visits
• Ensure timely closure of audit findings and non-conformances
• Maintain accurate HSE records, permits, registers, and inspection reports
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly HSE reports for project management
• Track HSE performance indicators and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors to integrate HSE into daily operations
• Provide HSE guidance and technical advice to site teams
• Support emergency preparedness planning, drills, and response activities
