Roles & Responsibilities
The Senior HR Officer plays a key role in managing the human resources operations of an organization. This position involves a dynamic range of responsibilities, including developing and implementing HR policies, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with labor regulations. The Senior HR Officer acts as a bridge between management and employees, fostering a positive work environment and culture. With a focus on strategic HR tasks, this role also requires staying updated with industry trends to advise on best practices. Leaders in this position are expected to drive overall organizational success by enhancing employee satisfaction, retention, and productivity through effective HR management.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive human resources policies and procedures effectively.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract top talent to the organization.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and employment regulations consistently.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations issues and concerns.
- Conduct regular performance appraisals and provide constructive feedback to staff.
- Facilitate effective communication within the organization to foster positive working relationships.
- Develop training and development programs that enhance employee skills and career growth.
- Oversee payroll processes and ensure timely and accurate salary payments.
- Manage employee benefits programs and address related inquiries promptly and accurately.
- Advise senior management on strategic human resources planning and talent management.
- Lead HR projects and initiatives that support organizational goals and objectives.
- Ensure an inclusive workplace and promote diversity and equality across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- Minimum of five years experience in an HR role, with a leadership position preferred.
- Strong understanding of labor laws and regulations with proven compliance experience.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to mediate conflicts.
- Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite, demonstrating technical aptitude.
- Proven ability to design and implement effective HR strategies and policies.
- Experience in managing recruitment, performance management, and employee development processes.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team effectively.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and decision-making skills in HR-related matters.
