Job Description

As a Senior HR Generalist, you will play a crucial role in driving the human resources strategy and operations within our organization. This position requires a seasoned professional who can manage various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws. The ideal candidate will work closely with senior management to ensure that HR initiatives align with the organization's goals and priorities. The Senior HR Generalist should possess strong interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of HR best practices to support a diverse workforce. Your ability to handle complex employee issues, mentor junior HR staff, and contribute to a positive work environment will be key to your success in this role.


Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective HR strategies that align with organizational objectives.
  • Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, and candidate selection.
  • Oversee employee relations and provide guidance on conflict resolution and performance issues.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Advise managers on organizational policy matters and recommend needed changes.
  • Conduct training sessions on HR policies, programs, and compliance topics for staff.
  • Handle complex employee benefit inquiries and coordinate with benefits providers.
  • Analyze HR metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead diversity and inclusion initiatives to foster a supportive workplace environment.
  • Facilitate performance review processes and assist in goal setting for employees.
  • Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Mentor and develop junior HR team members to build on their skills and knowledge.

Requirements
  • Bachelor s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field is required.
  • At least five years of experience in a HR Generalist role, including senior-level management.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required for team collaboration.
  • Experience with HRMS and Applicant Tracking Systems is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions.
