Job Description
As a Senior HPC cloud engineer, you will be part of a team responsible for managing and supporting HPC and cloud systems, clusters, and related technologies. This role is ideal for candidates passionate about cloud computing and AWS services, eager to learn, and looking to grow their careers in HPC, cloud and IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Installation, configuration, and maintenance of AWS cloud platforms.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system reliability and uptime.
Apply operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes.
Manage job scheduling and workload management systems (e.g., SLURM, or similar).
Support users by troubleshooting job failures, optimizing workflows, and resolving technical queries.
Performance tuning and scaling of the system.
Document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps to support knowledge sharing.
Help validating cloud architectures and implement new features over AWS services.
Participate in developing in-house products utilizing AWS services.
Education
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience
Senior cloud engineer with 3 or more years of experience.
Strong knowledge in AWS services along with hands on experience is a must.
Strong knowledge of ML/AI workloads and AWS services is a must.
Experience in supporting customers in a production environment.
Strong knowledge in Parallel cluster and/or PCS is a plus.
Implementation of production cloud platform following a predefined architecture is a plus.
Knowledge of job schedulers like SLURM is a plus.
Experience with storage solutions such as Lustre, GPFS, or NFS is a plus.
Exposure to system monitoring tools like Nagios, Prometheus, or similar.
GCP or Azure experience is a plus.
