Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
GAP Polymers is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior GL/AP Accountant to join our Finance team. This role will be instrumental in managing our general ledger and accounts payable functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across our operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and month-end/year-end closings.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Review, process, and reconcile vendor invoices and AP transactions.
- Ensure timely and accurate payment runs and AP aging reports.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
- Maintain accounting system integrity in Odoo ERP.
- Collaborate with procurement, treasury, and operations to streamline workflows.
- Provide audit support and strengthen internal controls.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional certification (CPA, CMA, ACCA) preferred.
- 5 7 years of progressive accounting experience (min. 3 years in GL/AP).
- Solid experience in financial statements and reconciliations.
- Mandatory: Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong IFRS knowledge.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent command of English (written & spoken).
