Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

GAP Polymers is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior GL/AP Accountant to join our Finance team. This role will be instrumental in managing our general ledger and accounts payable functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across our operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and month-end/year-end closings.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Review, process, and reconcile vendor invoices and AP transactions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate payment runs and AP aging reports.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
  • Maintain accounting system integrity in Odoo ERP.
  • Collaborate with procurement, treasury, and operations to streamline workflows.
  • Provide audit support and strengthen internal controls.


Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Professional certification (CPA, CMA, ACCA) preferred.
  • 5 7 years of progressive accounting experience (min. 3 years in GL/AP).
  • Solid experience in financial statements and reconciliations.
  • Mandatory: Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong IFRS knowledge.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent command of English (written & spoken).
