Roles & Responsibilities

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Operations Executive to lead and manage complex freight forwarding operations. In this role, you ll take ownership of high-level coordination, ensure regulatory compliance, manage key client accounts, and support the Operations Manager in driving efficiency and service excellence.

What You ll Do:

  • Oversee end-to-end freight forwarding operations (air, sea, land).
  • Supervise and guide junior operations staff to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Review and validate key shipping documents (MBL, HBL, customs paperwork, invoices).
  • Act as the main escalation point for major client accounts and critical shipments.
  • Negotiate rates and contracts with carriers, agents, and vendors.
  • Monitor KPIs, prepare reports, and recommend process improvements.
  • Ensure full compliance with customs, international trade laws, and company policies.

Desired Candidate Profile

What We re Looking For:

  • Bachelor s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics operations.
  • Strong knowledge of international shipping, customs clearance, and trade compliance.
  • Proven experience handling complex shipments and client relationships.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and freight forwarding systems.
