Roles & Responsibilities
As a Senior Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving the financial performance of the organization. You will work closely with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies, analyze trends, and provide insights that support strategic decision-making. Your analytical skills and financial acumen will be crucial in conducting financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis. You will be the go-to expert for financial data interpretation and will aid in crafting the organization's financial story through detailed reports and presentations. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop financial strategies that align with company goals.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive financial models to support forecasting and budgeting processes.
- Conduct detailed variance analysis to explain budget versus actual performance discrepancies.
- Analyze complex financial data and provide concise reports to assist business decision-makers.
- Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to stakeholders.
- Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
- Assist in identifying financial risks and opportunities through in-depth analysis and research.
- Maintain and improve company-wide financial dashboards and performance metrics.
- Support strategic initiatives by providing financial insights and recommendations for action.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial efficiencies across the organization.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies through continuous monitoring.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process by coordinating with various business units.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in FP&A or a similar financial role required.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools such as Excel.
- Proven ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders clearly.
- Experience working with financial planning software and ERP systems is a plus.
- Solid understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes is essential.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail are necessary for this role.
