Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the end-to-end foreign procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of goods and services from international suppliers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with global vendors, negotiating contracts and terms to secure optimal pricing and quality.
- Analyze international market trends, supplier performance, and risk factors to inform strategic sourcing decisions.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and align sourcing strategies with organizational objectives.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant import/export regulations, trade laws, and company policies.
- Monitor and manage supplier performance, resolving issues related to quality, delivery, and service.
- Prepare and present procurement reports, cost analyses, and recommendations to senior management.
- Collaborate with logistics and finance teams to ensure smooth customs clearance, payment processing, and inventory management.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce procurement costs.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging markets, and new sourcing opportunities.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field.
- 3 to 6 years of proven experience in foreign or international procurement, preferably within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of global sourcing strategies, supplier management, and contract negotiation.
- Familiarity with international trade regulations, customs procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively liaise with global suppliers and internal teams.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all procurement activities.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
