Senior Fire and Life Safety Engineer

The Senior Fire and Life Safety Engineer performs a variety of design tasks in accordance with agreed budget and schedule with minimal supervision. The jobholder interacts with clients and stakeholders and provides recommendations through the various stages of the projects.

• Develop fire and life safety strategies including applicable codes, basic life safety measures, and design guidelines for different types of projects.
• Review of architecture, MEP, infrastructure, and master plan drawings to ensure compatibility with FLS recommendations.
• Prepare FLS drawings showing fire zoning layouts, evacuation layouts, etc.

• Bachelor s degree in engineering with 8 to 10 years of experience. Preferable degree in mechanical engineering, other relevant degrees are also acceptable.
• Proven experience in the Gulf region in general and specifically in KSA is a plus.
• Profound knowledge of different relevant NFPA codes, national Civil Defense regulations (mainly Saudi Civil Defense), and national building codes (Such as Saudi Building Code SBC).
• High level of expertise and understanding of different codes, capability to prove in-depth comprehension and application of their requirements in fire and life safety engineering practices.
