SENIOR FIELD TECHNICIAN - ELECTRICAL

Job Purpose: We are seeking a competent and motivated Multiskilled Field Technician to join our team. This hands-on role involves executing a range of operational, instrumentation and electrical tasks to ensure the safe, efficient and reliable functioning of the LNG facility.
Main tasks and responsibilities

• Strictly follow all HSE policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements in daily activities.
• Adhere to safe work practices and actively contribute to maintaining a safety-first environment.
• Participate in emergency drills and remain ready to respond to incidents such as fire, gas release, or medical emergencies.
• Support routine operations during day and night shifts as directed by the Senior Technician and Shift Supervisor.
• Coordinate with the Panel Operator to carry out field operations safely and efficiently.
• Perform assigned tasks under valid work permits, ensuring compliance with the Permit to Work (PTW) system.
• Attend Toolbox Talks (TBT) before starting any job and follow instructions provided by the work leader.
• Confirm availability and readiness of safety systems, barriers and emergency equipment prior to starting work.
• Assist in preparing equipment for maintenance, including isolations, depressurization and tagging, following standard procedures.
• Support the application of isolations (e.g, LO/LC tags & isolation plans).
• Conduct regular test runs on standby equipment and report any abnormalities to the senior technician or supervisor responsible.
• Perform Level 1 and 2 maintenance and repairs across instrumentation, electrical, and operational systems as per job assignments.
• Carry out routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on field equipment.
• Perform installation, calibration, troubleshooting and testing of instrument and electrical components.
• Isolates and reinstates filters and strainers for routine element change-out.
• Use appropriate test tools to verify performance of field devices such as actuators, sensors, protection devices, and motors.
• Monitor field equipment and systems and report abnormal conditions to the Senior Technician or Shift Supervisor.
• Ensure all fire and gas (F&G) detection systems are functional and report any anomalies.
• Support inspections and functional checks on safety and control valves, including ESDVs, SDVs and PSVs.
