Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Managing and organizing recruitment of various positions through various channels. Developing job descriptions, posting jobs on portals, coordinating with recruitment agents and travelling with the interview panel, if needed.
  • Actively organizing and following up the recruitment process internally and externally. Responsible for ensuring timely filling of positions by continuously following up with other department heads . Participating in the interview process and keeping information organized so that a standardized feedback system with management can be established.
  • Understand technical job descriptions and to be able to carry out initial screening and reference checks.
  • Carry out detailed initial HR interviews , explaining the company’s nature of operations and policies.
  • Prepare offer letters, follow-up with candidates and collate documents for visa application.
  • Carry out detailed exit interviews with employees and provide regular feedback to management after each exit.
  • Interact with Employees for their general wellbeing and keeping a gauge of issues that are affecting employees on a routine basis.
  • Effective management and guidance for punctuality, absence, leave management, sick leave management.
  • Promoting and maintaining a positive and inclusive company culture.
  • Manage employee welfare.
  • Lead the appraisal and review process on a quarterly / annual basis.
  • Lead and be responsible for the training and development process in the organization. Coordinating with management to determine the training and developments required, arranging external and internal trainings, ensuring adherence to training schedule and attendance. Ensuring effectiveness of training and feedback and reporting back to management on a regular basis.
  • Maintaining checklists for new employee’s induction process locally.
  • Legal and statutory compliance with the laws, company policies and certification standards adopted by the company.
  • Handle other administrative issues like employee grievances, disciplinary matters, labor accommodation etc.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Any graduate (preferably mechanical engineering background) with masters in HR.
  • Strong communication skills with a confident and approachable personality.
  • Proficient in MS Excel.
  • Preferably with a working knowledge in an HCM or any ERP system.
