Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
· Assist in analyzing financial results, tracking P&L variances, and identifying key trends to support informed decision-making.
· Support the FP&A team in consolidating and analyzing financial data such as budgets, forecasts, and income statements.
· Prepare and update financial models and benchmarking reports under the guidance of the FP&A Assistant Manager.
· Assist in preparing business cases, feasibility studies, and ROI analyses for new projects, acquisitions, and joint ventures.
· Monitor and track key financial KPIs and prepare reports for management reviews.
· Help create periodic management reports, highlighting key industry trends and business performance.
· Participate in the tracking of process improvement initiatives and policy implementation effectiveness.
· Support the budgeting process, including data gathering, consolidation, and validation across departments.
· Assist with the financial evaluation of operational decisions such as outsourcing, hiring, and capital expenditures.
· Contribute to the preparation of presentations, business reviews, and progress reports related to financial performance and strategic initiatives.
· Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of financial databases and reporting systems.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant financial and operational data.
· Support process enhancement initiatives to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.
Desired Candidate Profile
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
· 1–3 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, or accounting roles ((preferrable fintech sector)
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial reporting tools.
· Strong understanding of financial statements, forecasting, and budgeting concepts.
· Familiarity with financial modeling and data analysis techniques (basic level, with willingness to develop further).
· Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment is an advantage
· Comfortable travelling to Guinea as per business requirements
