Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities


Job Purpose:

To support the installation, commissioning, testing, and maintenance of data center infrastructure systems including UPS, precision cooling, electrical panels, and associated facilities to ensure reliable operation and uptime of mission-critical environments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform installation, testing, and commissioning of UPS systems, cooling systems, and electrical panels.
  • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance for data center facility systems.
  • Conduct configuration, parameter setting, and performance testing of power and cooling systems.
  • Support data center infrastructure expansion, modification, and upgrade works.
  • Coordinate with OEMs (Schneider, Huawei, etc.) for system configuration, diagnostics, and issue resolution.
  • Prepare maintenance and test reports, and maintain proper documentation of all activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company quality, safety, and operational procedures.
  • Provide technical support during troubleshooting and emergency response.
  • Support project execution teams in the delivery and handover of new installations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new technologies in UPS and cooling systems.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field).
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Data Center facility systems, preferably in the UAE.
  • Proven experience with UPS systems, cooling systems, and electrical panels installation and maintenance.
  • Hands-on experience with APC/Schneider Electric and Huawei DCF products (FM500, FM800, FM2000, All-in-One Container DC).
  • Familiar with data center standards and maintenance best practices.

Certifications (Preferred):

  • APC Schneider Galaxy PW / Galaxy 5000
  • Huawei HCIA / HCIP – Data Center Facility
  • Training on Symmetra PX, Silicon UPS
