Roles & Responsibilities

Assist in the direct supervision of all assigned Technician(s), Electrical within the Electronics Workshop.
Ensure that all general electronic, navigation and optronic assembly, subassembly and/or component maintenance inspections, servicing, rebuilds, overhauls and repairs are accomplished in accordance with all technical manuals, KPIs and OEM specifications.
Perform quality maintenance repairs as part of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System program.
Oversee and perform general electronic, navigation and optronic assembly, subassembly and/or component maintenance inspections to determine the extent of repair and spare parts requirements.
Assist in the development of general electronic, navigation and optronic CM job plans.
Assist in the enforcement of all maintenance directives within the Electronics Workshop.
Oversee and perform general electronic, navigation and optronic s assembly, subassembly and/or component repairs using special tools, diagnostic equipment and/or test benches.
Oversee and replace a variety of relays, regulators, control boxes, switches, diodes, modules, printed circuit boards etc. outfitted to a variety of general electronic, navigation and optronic assemblies, subassemblies and/or components.
Oversee, inspect, troubleshoot, repair and test a variety of general electronic, navigation and optronic assemblies such as optical sights, vision devices, compasses and night vision devices.
Oversee and perform general electronic, navigation and optronic assembly, subassembly and/or component spare parts research to ensure that only required spare parts are requisitioned in the appropriate quantities.
Complete maintenance related documentation such as maintenance tasks accomplished, direct labour hours consumed, vehicle specific information, spare part request forms, etc.
Comply with all safety, housekeeping and environmental directives.
Ensure all issued tools, test equipment and high-value property is maintained in a serviceable condition, routinely inventoried and safeguarded.
Monitor and train all Technician(s), Electrical on a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure repairs are executed as planned.
Maintain the confidentiality and security of all company information.
Support other members of the Electronics Workshop in fulfilling their roles.
Perform other duties as directed by the Manager, Electronics Workshop.

Desired Candidate Profile

A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
A minimum of two years of experience performing general electronics assembly, subassembly and/or component repair is required.
A minimum of one year in a supervisory position is required.
Previous experience or electrical/electronics training is an advantage.
The ability to interpret complex electrical and/or mechanical schematics is preferred.
Previous experience using state-of-the-art diagnostic testing equipment is an advantage.
Knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office software and SAP is preferred.
The ability to communicate effectively in English, both in writing and verbally is required.
Have, or be able to obtain both a valid UAE driver’s and forklift license.
