Position: Senior Electrical Engineer

Reporting to: Design Manager

Location: Riyadh, KSA

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the review, approval, and quality control of all electrical engineering designs, drawings, and specifications from design through to construction. This role includes producing and reviewing technical documentation, ensuring compliance with international and Saudi Arabian codes/standards, supporting the PMO with reporting and KPIs, and working closely with contractors, consultants, and project

stakeholders to ensure project delivery meets scope, schedule, and budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and approve electrical engineering shop drawings, design submittals, and material proposals to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.

• Collaborate with the project team in design reviews, workshops, value engineering, and optimization studies.

• Respond to contractor technical queries during design, tender, and execution stages.

• Provide input during tender evaluations for contractor selection.

• Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with approved designs and specifications; prepare detailed inspection reports.

• Identify and address non-conformances promptly to maintain quality standards.

• Monitor progress against milestones, forecast risks, and recommend corrective actions.

• Support resolution of technical issues and manage change orders.

• Oversee testing and commissioning of electrical systems as part of project closeout.

• Coordinate preparation of O&M manuals, as-built documentation, and handover packages.

• Liaise with local authorities for data collection, permits, and approvals when required.
