Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer - Construction experience in 132kV High Voltage Substation projects within the Oil and Gas sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for all electrical construction activities including 132kV & 33KV GIS Switchgear, Power Transformers, SCMS, PMS, 132kV and 33kV cable pulling, knowledge of Synchronization system and Philosophy etc. in consultation with Lead Engineer ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and project timelines.

Closely monitoring the execution of daily electrical construction activities, ensuring alignment with project specifications, quality standards and schedule. Close coordination with multidisciplinary team and interface project. All construction activities shall be in accordance with ADNOC HSE policy.

Safety Management:

Promote and enforce a strong safety culture, ensuring all construction activities comply with safety regulations and guidelines.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering with 15 years minimum Oil & Gas experience and minimum 8 years in Lead role
  • Good verbal as well as written communication skills, leadership and coordination, analytic and pro-active approach competence in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Chemical Industries.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific software, such as AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other computer-aided design tools.
