The Senior Engineer- Electrical has an extensive experience and expertise in the field of electrical engineering. The jobholder is capable of successfully solving design engineering problems that require adaptation and modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria. He works closely with Project Managers for the review and validation of deliverables and monitors the checking and reviews of all design phases and ensures the proper implementation of all related adjustments and revisions.

• Lead the development of technical solutions for projects and prepare and/or review technical deliverables
• Provide technical subject matters expertise to clients during proposal stage and in client meetings during design delivery
• Support, review and provide expert input on project data collection to the project team
• Develop schematic design for complex electrical design projects according to the approved concept
• Guide the refinement of selected design options into schematic and draft final designs, including all required drawings and reports
• Prepare written reports and presentations of project findings that support moving projects into design, or document operational enhancements
• Closely work with Project Managers for the review and validation of design deliverables with clients and authorities, capturing feedback and obtaining approvals
• Lead the coordination with other departments/units to ensure that design details integrate properly with all other disciplines
• Assist in the distribution of the team members workload to ensure progress is as scheduled
• Oversee mid-level staff in the preparation of calculations, plans, specifications, cost estimates, technical reports, and presentations
• Prepare detailed proposals, client briefs and fee proposals and contribute to major bids as required
• Provide support to Project Managers in developing periodic progress reports
• Support Project Managers with the management of client relations and expectations
• Support Project Managers in client presentations and workshops
• Provide technical evaluation and recommendation for contractors value engineering and cost reduction plans
• Coordinate with sub-consultants to ensure that the design and project progress are according to contract requirements and the service time program
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure the project is proceeding according to contract requirements
• Supervise the QA/QC performed by team members to ensure quality of design drawings
• Support in conducting close-out activities and derive lessons learned
• Lead training sessions and provide publication and training material
• Actively support business development activities
• Represent SETS at the key industry events and conferences

• Bachelor s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or any related field is preferred
• Strong knowledge of the industry standard computer software for the position including AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux, Ecodial, Etap
• Knowledge in Primavera and planning software is a plus
• Understanding of international engineering standards and codes
• Proficiency in spoken and written English and Arabic; French is a plus
• 12+ years of experience in infrastructure network design such as medium voltage networks, low voltage network, external lighting design such as but limited to street lighting and landscape lighting, telecommunication network
• Knowledge of local and international codes and guidelines applicable in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
