Parsons is seeking a seasoned Senior Discipline Engineer specialized in Roads and Transportation to join our major infrastructure hospitality program in Riyadh. This high-impact role involves leading the design, planning, and delivery of complex transportation systems and road networks in alignment with Saudi Arabia s transformative Vision 2030 infrastructure goals.

Position Overview

This position offers an opportunity to lead major pre-tender and design-stage road and highway projects. You'll bring technical direction, manage multi-disciplinary coordination, and ensure high-standard design solutions using modern traffic modeling and engineering tools. Your work will directly support regional connectivity, smart mobility solutions, and hospitality infrastructure expansion.

What You ll Do

* Lead project management across design, budget, and scheduling for roads and transportation initiatives
* Deliver technical leadership in the planning and design of roads, intersections, and highways
* Conduct traffic flow analysis, feasibility studies, and geometric and pavement design
* Supervise quality assurance across design packages, documentation, and submittals
* Coordinate with government authorities, contractors, and clients to ensure compliance and approvals
* Utilize tools like AutoCAD, Civil 3D, SYNCHRO, and VISSIM for engineering and simulation
* Prepare and present high-level reports and ensure adherence to local and international standards

Ideal Profile

* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master s preferred)
* 15+ years of experience in road and highway design, traffic engineering, and infrastructure delivery
* Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification highly desirable
* Strong expertise in AutoCAD, MicroStation, Civil 3D, and traffic modeling software
* Proficient in design codes, sustainability standards, and transportation planning methodologies
* Experience managing large-scale infrastructure or hospitality-related development projects
* Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills
