Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Lead preparation of technical and commercial proposals for digital delivery services, including level of effort and risk mitigation strategies
- Act as the primary client interface for delivery of digital services
- Implement and execute the strategic vision for enterprise-wide digital initiatives within the engineering centre
- Develop and manage implementation plans aligned with business digital roadmaps and objectives
- Coordinate with engineering centre leadership and other centres on digital initiatives and execution
- Identify and implement digital solutions to enhance project delivery, efficiency, and performance
- Lead organisational change management related to digital transformation
- Manage schedules, budgets, and resources for digital initiatives
- Ensure technical excellence and consistency of digital delivery services
- Lead and manage digital practice areas including information management, BIM, GIS, and automation
- Support integration of digital practices into roadway and infrastructure projects
- Provide technical leadership for adoption of digital tools, systems, and processes
- Lead audits and ensure compliance with ISO 19650 and other relevant standards
- Develop onboarding programs and deliver training to enhance digital skills across the engineering centre
- Monitor KPIs, reporting, and adoption metrics for digital initiatives
- Track industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain innovation leadership
Skills Set
- In-depth knowledge of information management, BIM, GIS, and automation practices
- Strong understanding of ISO 19650 and digital information management standards
- Proficiency with common data environments and digital platforms such as Autodesk Construction Cloud, ProjectWise, Civil 3D, Dynamo, Revizto, Synchro, and Cost X
- Excellent leadership, project management, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams across multiple locations
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Architecture, Engineering, GIS, Geography, Geomatics, or Computer Science
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience including supervisory or managerial roles
- Proven experience in engineering and infrastructure projects
- Strong background in managing BIM, GIS, automation, or digital delivery programs
- Experience preparing technical and commercial proposals for digital services
