Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Design & Analysis – Perform FEA analysis and design of Sheet metal systems using relevant codes and software (e.g., StaadPro, Ansys equivalent. )
2. Detailing & Drafting – Develop accurate shop drawings, fabrication details, and installation plans using CAD/BIM software (AutoCAD, Revit, or Tekla).
3. Material Optimization – Ensure efficient material usage, weight optimization, and cost-effectiveness in design while maintaining structural integrity.
4. Code Compliance & Coordination – Ensure designs comply with relevant, standards, and project requirements while coordinating with architects, consultants, and production teams.
5. Quality Checks & Troubleshooting – Conduct design validations, resolve technical issues, and provide support during manufacturing and installation phases
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years in Sheet metal design, detailing, or FEA analysis.
- Structural Analysis & Design – Proficiency in STAAD Pro, ETABS, or similar tools for sheet metal design
- CAD & BIM Software – Expertise in AutoCAD, Tekla, Revit for detailing and modeling.
- Engineering Fundamentals – Strong knowledge of structural mechanics, load calculations, and sheet metal design. Understanding sheet metal properties, connections, bending forces, and manufacturing methods.
