Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of ELV systems, ensuring adherence to industry standards and client specifications, from concept to commissioning.
- Conduct thorough site surveys and needs assessments to accurately capture project requirements and translate them into effective design solutions.
- Develop detailed ELV system designs, including schematics, layouts, and specifications, using relevant software tools like AutoCAD or Revit.
- Oversee the selection and integration of ELV equipment, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance within the overall system.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and resolve any technical challenges.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering their professional development and enhancing team capabilities.
- Review and approve shop drawings and submittals, verifying compliance with design specifications and industry best practices.
- Perform system testing and commissioning activities, ensuring the proper functionality and performance of ELV systems.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in ELV, recommending innovative solutions to enhance system efficiency and functionality.
- Prepare and present technical reports, proposals, and presentations to clients and stakeholders, effectively communicating design concepts and project progress.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field
- Demonstrates a minimum of 10 years of experience in ELV system design and implementation, showcasing a proven track record of success.
- Exhibits a deep understanding of ELV systems, including CCTV, access control, fire alarm, and building management systems.
- Proficient in using design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant tools for creating detailed system designs.
- Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients, contractors, and team members.
- Demonstrates strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, capable of identifying and resolving complex technical issues.
- Exhibits a proactive and results-oriented approach, consistently delivering high-quality work within deadlines and budget constraints.
- Demonstrates experience in the Middle East region, with a strong understanding of local codes and regulations.
