Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Manage SAN infrastructure including zoning, LUN provisioning, replication (SRDF, RecoverPoint), and performance tuning.
- Lead storage integration with virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere and Hyper-V.
- Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies (e.g., Veeam, Avamar, NetBackup).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for infrastructure projects, migrations, and upgrades.
- Monitor storage performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of storage environments and procedures.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and participate in capacity planning.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Dell EMC Unity XT, PowerStore, SC Series, or EqualLogic storage solutions.
- Strong knowledge of SAN technologies, Fibre Channel, iSCSI, and storage networking concepts.
- Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere, vSAN, and Microsoft Hyper-V.
- Familiarity with backup/recovery solutions and DR planning.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Dell EMC Proven Professional, VMware VCP) are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Fluent in English and French; Arabic is a bonus.
