Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures to support healthcare management solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into robust data models.
- Optimize and automate data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes for efficiency and reliability.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data systems and workflows.
- Integrate diverse data sources, including billing, authorizations, credentialing, and customer care systems.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance, resolving issues proactively to minimize downtime.
- Implement best practices for data governance, compliance, and documentation in accordance with healthcare industry standards.
- Mentor and guide junior data engineers, fostering knowledge sharing and technical growth within the team.
- Collaborate with software engineers to enhance the functionality and scalability of proprietary healthcare software.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in data engineering, recommending innovative solutions to improve data infrastructure.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of professional experience in data engineering or a related role.
- Proven expertise in designing and building scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational and non-relational databases.
- Hands-on experience with data integration tools and frameworks (e.g., Apache Airflow, Talend, Informatica).
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Demonstrated ability to ensure data quality, security, and compliance in a regulated environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with experience working in cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work onsite in a fast-paced, dynamic office environment.
