Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Cost Estimation Engineer to join our team!

What You'll Be Doing:

• Contribute to creating and implementing best practices, cost estimating vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.

• Make accurate project cost estimates (from Class 5 to Class 1 estimate levels).

• Thorough knowledge and demonstrated experience of directing cost estimating, control and analysis,

• Experience and demonstrated skill in establishing criteria and system set-up for all project controls activities.

• Statistical knowledge in the areas of sampling distributions, probability, and hypothesis testing. Knowledge in supervision, personnel administration, and training of technical and non-technical personnel.

• Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, direct, perform, review, and present cost engineering and cost estimating products. This includes Estimating / products independently with minimal supervision using a high level of professional judgment and knowledge related to technical and engineering design and construction practices.

• Working knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and start-up / set up work processes.

• Expertise must have been gained from working for reputed firms.

• Must have led large Estimating Section with top international firms and on prestigious projects.

• Demonstrated skill in mgmt., supervisory, and personnel administrative functions.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor s in quantity surveying, engineering or cost engineering from an accredited university.

• Minimum 18 years experience in Estimating / project controls on large projects.

• Preferably certified in CEP or MCIOB or MCIArab.

• Excellent Arabic / English verbal and written communication skills

• Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio & Databases).
