Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Compile and maintain a comprehensive database of cost information and expenses.
  • Develop and implement data accumulation systems to enhance financial tracking.
  • Assess and calculate fixed costs, including salaries, rent, and insurance.
  • Strategically plan and document variable costs, such as raw material purchases and operational expenses.
  • Review and analyze discrepancies between standard and actual costs to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare detailed budgeting reports for both the organisation and individual departments.
  • Conduct analyses of profit margins and provide insights for financial decision-making.
  • Generate cost forecasts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely financial reporting.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably within the construction or sales industry.
  • Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Odoo system.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, office-based environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams.
