Job Summary

The ideal candidate is a qualified corporate lawyer who aligns with the vision of the company. He should know the ins and outs of corporate law in order to uphold the company s reputation on a legal front. Also he should be an expert in negotiation and communication in order to be able to provide sound legal advice.


Objectives of this role

Provide legal advice that complies with regulatory laws, keeping in mind the needs of the company

Ensure that the company avoids all kinds of legal risks and violations with the right corporate law services

Evaluate ongoing and potential projects for the company and ensure that it adheres to corporate law stipulations

Continually learn the dynamic changing laws and regulations of the corporate law on a national and international scale


Job Responsibilities


Curate and review legal paperwork and documentation that protect and support the company s interests while adhering to corporate compliance laws

Improvise and oversee the company policies on legal affairs periodically

Guide the management team and stakeholders on the legal directions to take

Undertake and perform in-depth legal research for partnerships, mergers, acquisitions and other transactions depending on the project assigned to him by the senior legal counsel


Required skills and qualifications


Bachelor s degree in law from a recognized university

Expertise in commercial law, corporate and business law

Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in a law firm

Proficiency and fluency in Arabic, English and French

Strong analytical and negotiation skills

Comprehensive understanding of corporate law
