About the Role:
Monks Middle East is looking for a Senior Arabic Copywriter who can wield words, wisdom, and wit as they cover everything from social content, web copy, and newsletters to print, display advertisin,g and e-commerce. If you’re keen to work as part of a global team of talent to produce integrated work for a world-class client, this job represents the sweet spot. 

Responsibilities:
Specialise in creating high-quality Arabic digital content, including landing pages, social media posts, and display ads.
Handle both large-scale content requests and short-form copy such as single-line headlines or taglines, maintaining a consistent tone and standard across all touchpoints.
Leverage data-driven insights to personalize Arabic content across the entire customer journey، from awareness campaigns to transactional copy.
Contribute to improving workflows, content quality, and internal best practices, particularly when working with government-related projects.
Collaborate with a global team on both local and international assignments, working across time zones and disciplines while upholding Arabic language integrity.
Ensure that all Arabic content aligns with the project’s specific objectives and the client’s expectations, both in tone and technical accuracy.
Produce a wide range of Arabic deliverables, including user-facing content, copy decks, reports, and formal communications.
Maintain clarity, fluency, and grammatical accuracy across all content, ensuring every asset reflects the brand’s voice and meets the highest linguistic standards.

About You
The essentials:
Must be a Senior Arabic Copywriter with at least 6 years of experience in professional copywriting. 3 years minimum in Riyadh.
Strong command of Modern Standard Arabic (Fus-ha) - this is not a Saudi dialect project but may require minimal nuances.
Ability to produce flawless, grammatically correct copy with a natural, professional tone.
Prior experience working with government entities or official institutions is highly preferred.
Exceptional editing and proofreading skills; must be able to review and elevate existing content.
Deep understanding of formal tone, cultural sensitivities, and appropriate messaging in a public sector environment.
Ability to interpret briefs and translate them into compelling Arabic copy aligned with client objectives and tone of voice based on audience.
Comfortable writing across multiple formats: websites, press releases, speeches, reports, formal social media, and internal communications.
Capable of maintaining tone and terminology consistency across large-scale or long-term projects.
Able to collaborate with non-Arabic speakers and apply feedback while preserving the quality and intent of the Arabic copy.
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
Must provide a relevant portfolio, ideally with samples from government, public sector, or high-profile client work.
