Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Tender Document Review: Thoroughly review and compare tender documents, including specifications, drawings, BOQs, and addenda to identify discrepancies.
  • Tender Queries: Send out queries to clients regarding discrepancies or when additional documents are needed.
  • BOQ Analysis: Add comments on items to be priced, quantify and identify any missing items that need to be incorporated within the tender offer.
  • Lump Sum Assessments: Check and validate the backup of components of lump sum items to assist the Tendering Department in making accurate bid assessments.
  • Qualifications Submission: Submit a list of qualifications in case of any discrepancies between tender drawings and BOQs.
  • Document Comparison: Compare contract documents with tender documents post-project award to ensure consistency.
  • Policy Enforcement: Ensure compliance with all established HSE & Quality policies throughout project processes.
  • Violation Management: Report and resolve all policy violations in a timely manner.
  • HSE System Implementation: Effectively implement the HSE Management system as per organizational procedures

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a closely related field. A Master’s degree or further professional qualifications in quantity surveying or project management would be an asset.
  • Professional Certifications: Membership or accreditation from a recognized professional body such as the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) or the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) is highly desirable.
