Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Direct overall planning and execution of construction activities for major airport and airfield projects valued between 50M and 250M
- Review and validate contractor schedules, critical milestones, and construction methodologies in live airport environments
- Develop budget estimates, staffing plans, and resource forecasts for Parsons scope of services and monitor variances
- Ensure timely availability of subcontractors, specialist services, and major equipment suppliers
- Assign and manage construction teams, inspectors, and resident engineers across multiple work fronts
- Monitor manpower, materials, and equipment deployment to maintain productivity, schedules, and cost targets
- Identify potential construction and interface risks, implementing preventive and corrective measures to protect project milestones
- Lead and manage all construction and operational interfaces across contractors, consultants, regulatory bodies, and airport operators
- Serve as the primary point of contact with client representatives, subcontractors, and government authorities on construction matters
- Prepare periodic progress reports for senior management and client review
- Conduct performance evaluations and support professional development of direct reports
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, client requirements, and applicable regulatory standards
- Maintain strong client and community relations while coordinating with adjacent and interfacing airport projects
Desired Candidate Profile
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering or a related discipline
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant construction experience
- Proven experience delivering airport, airfield, or large civil infrastructure projects
- Professional Engineer certification is required
- Strong field construction management background in complex operational environments
- Demonstrated leadership capability managing senior inspectors and construction administration teams
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
