Roles & Responsibilities
Job Title: Senior Chef
Job Type: Full-Time
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Chef to lead our kitchen operations in Sharjah. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in international, Lebanese, with a special focus on breakfast offerings such as gourmet sandwiches, toasts, and light bites. You will be responsible for menu development, kitchen leadership, food quality, and staff supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, and execute a diverse menu featuring Lebanese, international cuisines.
- Design and prepare high-quality breakfast items including artisanal sandwiches, gourmet toasts, and healthy options.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring consistency in food preparation and presentation.
- Monitor kitchen inventory, food costs, and supplier relationships to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards are strictly maintained in the kitchen.
- Stay updated with food trends and continuously innovate to enhance the dining experience.
- Collaborate with management on seasonal menus, promotional dishes, and customer preferences.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5-7 years of culinary experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or head chef role.
- Proven expertise in Lebanese cuisine; experience in international is essential.
- Strong knowledge of breakfast trends, modern plating, and flavor combinations.
- Leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse kitchen team.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Sharjah, UAE.
Preferred Attributes:
- Creative and passionate about food and presentation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in opening new restaurants or café concepts is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards.
