Senior Business Lawyer or Legal Manager

The Senior Business Lawyer or Legal Manager is also responsible for providing independent support to a business area. He or she interacts with operational staff, internal experts (finance, purchasing) and management on the following main missions for the benefit of the businesses within the area:

-Identify and analyze contractual risks, from the offer phase, in public or private markets, participate in the drafting and negotiation of customer contracts, and group agreements where applicable;

-Advise project teams on contract management during the implementation of projects, promote contract management (letters, methodology, tools, etc.), and where appropriate, assist project teams on complaints files;

-Provide legal support to the Purchasing Department upon request (contractual management of suppliers, pre-litigation);

-Identify and alert in the event of a particular legal risk and propose appropriate solutions;

-Design and lead awareness-raising actions or legal training for operational staff or buyers, in order to give them the means to identify certain risks and acquire good reflexes likely to secure the activity of companies in the VINCI Energies West Africa P le (training, information flashes, awareness-raising events, videos, etc.);

-Develop and disseminate legal or contractual management tools to facilitate the performance of certain actions by operational staff and buyers while ensuring their security (contract templates, mailing templates, information media, etc.);

-Contribute to the dissemination of the Group's ethical and compliance culture, and support operational staff and management in the implementation of the Group's compliance program;

-Participate in VINCI Energies' internal networks which promote the pooling of best practices and the sharing of feedback;

-Develop the legal strategy and defend the interests of the company in pre-litigation and litigation actions, in conjunction with law firms;

-Follow up on insurance claims;

-Provide legal advice on all other subjects arising from the activity of the PLE (export issues, etc.).

It is clear that the Senior Business Lawyer or Legal Manager is part of the group's approach to anticipate and prevent difficulties in order to ensure compliance with rules and regulations and to avoid claims and disputes that are detrimental to the interests of companies.

With a Bac+5 qualification, you have at least 5 years of legal experience, ideally in the field of IT infrastructures. You are able to handle with great autonomy the legal matters of a dedicated area for which you are responsible. In particular, you have good contractual technique and excellent sure action skills. You have solid legal knowledge in contract law, and more generally in business law. You demonstrate rigor in the analysis of texts, a spirit of synthesis, great editorial clarity and good practice in contractual negotiation. With excellent pedagogical sense and communication skills, you enjoy transmitting, and you have good convincing skills and excellent interpersonal skills. You have a great deal of autonomy while knowing how to work in a team.

A good command of written and spoken English (C1) would be a plus.

The position is based in Casablanca (Morocco), with travel within Morocco expected.
