Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Apply strong analytical skills to logically break down business challenges and resolve contradictions and ambiguities in requirements.
  • Transform business requirements into clear business specification documents, identify key business issues, and propose optimal solutions.
  • Work closely with diverse stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct analysis, and drive user acceptance for new and existing systems.
  • Document deliverables such as business requirement documents, functional specifications, use cases, UAT plans, test scripts, and time estimates are critical for successful project execution.
  • Guide teams through design, development, process workflow optimization, and various activities for implementing business solutions.
  • Utilize prototyping tools to assist in developing user interfaces and application prototypes.
  • Foster constructive communication between business and technology teams, resolve requirement conflicts, and keep projects progressing efficiently.
  • Support efforts to align solutions with evolving customer and business needs, keep stakeholders informed via presentations, email, and executive updates.
  • Collaborate with developers and testers to implement business requirements and support the quality assurance process as needed.
  • Liaise between Operations and IT for gathering business requirements for system enhancements and implementations.
  • Hold regular meetings to review deliverables and deadlines, especially during the business analysis stage.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant major.
  • At least 6 + years of experience as a business analyst in banking or financial services.
  • Direct experience in:
    Banking Products and Services: Retail, Corporate, Digital, Treasury, and Open Banking.
    Core banking applications (e.g., T24).
    Accounting cycle, payment systems, and digital banking channels (Internet banking, mobile apps, and ATMs).
    Integration systems and reporting modules.
  • Methodologies: Familiarity with Waterfall and Agile environments.
  • Key skills: Excellent communication, technical understanding, problem solving, leadership, teamwork, client management, business operations, multitasking abilities.
  • Behavioral competencies: Results-driven approach, teamwork, commercial awareness, and creativity.
  • Proven capability to work closely with cross-functional teams and manage requirements for complex banking solutions.
