Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage daily bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of all banking transactions.
- Monitor and process incoming and outgoing payments, including wire transfers and deposits.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Review and approve journal entries and adjustments.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual bank statements and reports.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and banking regulation
- Coordinate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely transaction settlements.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all bank accounts and related documentation.
- Assist in cash flow forecasting and liquidity management.
- Support external and internal audits by providing necessary banking documentation and explanations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in banking operations.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to optimize treasury functions.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in bank accounting or treasury operations.
- Previous experience in the agricultural field
- Strong understanding of banking procedures and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Demonstrated integrity and commitment to confidentiality.
