Job Purpose
The Senior Associate Relationship Manager will play a critical role in client onboarding and managing client relationships. This individual will also be responsible for market research, prospect outreach, maintaining existing investor relations, and representing the fund at various industry events. A good understanding of the crypto market, combined with excellent interpersonal skills, will be crucial for this role.

Duties and Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Onboarding
Explaining the ADGM Framework: Educating clients about the unique regulatory environment of ADGM and how it governs digital assets.
Account Setup Guidance: Assisting clients through the application and account creation process on trading, custody, or wallet platforms.
Product Orientation: Walking clients through available digital asset products (custody, trading, OTC, funds) and ensuring suitability.
Expectation Management: Clearly outlining service-level agreements, timelines, and reporting processes.
KYC/AML Checks: The RM must ensure that all clients undergo thorough Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) screening, in line with the ADGM Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) rules.
Source of Funds Verification: Establishing the legitimacy of client wealth and the origin of funds, especially critical in digital assets.
Sanctions & PEP Screening: Screening clients against international sanctions lists and identifying politically exposed persons (PEPs).
Documentation Oversight: Ensuring all required documents (IDs, corporate registration, beneficial ownership structures) are collected, verified, and stored securely.
Business Development
Identify key markets, segments, and geographies where potential investors align with the fund's
objectives and strategies.
Regularly conduct research and market analysis to identify prospective investors and cultivate a
database of leads.
Initiate conversations, set up meetings, and present the fund's strategies, performance, and outlook to potential investors.
Relationship Management
Foster and nurture relationships with potential investors through regular communication,
understanding their investment objectives and tailoring pitches accordingly.
Organize and host investor events, webinars, and roadshows to highlight the fund's value proposition and investment thesis.
Performance Reporting:
Regularly report on business development activities, tracking metrics such as conversion rates, assets under management acquired, and investor feedback to senior management and other stakeholders.


Market Research
Stay updated with the latest trends, regulations, and opportunities in the crypto industry.
Provide feedback to the internal team regarding market sentiment, potential investment opportunities, and competitive landscape.
Skills and Experience (essential to any successful application)
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a digital assets, or fintech firm, or wealth management/asset management firm is essential.
Self-starter with a passion for crypto and an entrepreneurial mindset.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
Languages, English ideally another European language or Arabic.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. Master's Degree or higher is preferred.
Proven experience in client onboarding and relationship management in a crypto or wealth management business.
Good understanding of the crypto market, blockchain technology, and related regulations would be appreciated.
Strong understanding of hedge fund strategies would be strongly appreciated.
Excellent interpersonal and networking skills.
Ability to communicate complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner.
