Position Overview

As a Senior Associate Landscape Architect, you will guide a multidisciplinary design team in shaping world-class outdoor environments, from master-planned urban parks to detailed hardscape and softscape installations. You will play a key role in both the creative and operational leadership of the landscape studio, driving concept development, client engagement, technical delivery, and studio growth.

What You ll Do

* Lead and mentor a landscape architecture team across all design phases, with a focus on early-stage concepts and technical resolution
* Manage public realm and large-scale landscape projects, ensuring design excellence, budget adherence, and timely delivery
* Collaborate with master planning teams to align landscape strategies with broader urban frameworks
* Represent the studio in client presentations and support business development through design leadership
* Coordinate internal disciplines and oversee sub-consultants to achieve seamless project execution
* Ensure compliance with regional construction standards, sustainability regulations, and health and safety requirements
* Prepare and review technical drawings, visualizations, specifications, and bid packages
* Support studio operations including resource planning, quality assurance, and proposal development
* Maintain fluency in software tools including Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D modeling platforms (e.g., SketchUp, Rhino)

Ideal Profile

* Bachelor s degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited institution
* 15+ years of continuous experience in landscape architecture, including leadership roles
* Proven track record in UAE or GCC projects involving parks, urban streetscapes, waterfronts, or mixed-use developments
* Professional certification such as CMLI, ASLA, or ALIA
* Strong ability to communicate design intent and technical details to clients, consultants, and internal teams
* Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus
* Experience managing design studio operations, technical delivery, and financial performance of multiple projects
* Demonstrated ability to build, mentor, and grow high-performing landscape architecture teams
