Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Oversee and coordinate all architectural technical office activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.
- Review and validate architectural drawings, shop drawings, and material submittals for accuracy and constructability.
- Collaborate with design, engineering, and construction teams to resolve technical issues and ensure seamless project execution.
- Prepare and manage project documentation, including RFIs, technical reports, and correspondence with stakeholders.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, verify adherence to design intent, and address technical challenges.
- Support value engineering initiatives by proposing alternative materials and construction methods to optimize project outcomes.
- Ensure timely delivery of technical submissions and approvals in line with project schedules.
- Coordinate with procurement teams to review and approve architectural materials and suppliers.
- Lead technical meetings and workshops to facilitate knowledge sharing and problem-solving.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, codes, and best practices relevant to architectural engineering.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural technical office roles within the construction or development field is a must .
- Bachelor Degree in Architectural Engineering.
- Proven expertise in reviewing and preparing architectural drawings, shop drawings, and material submittals.
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and resolve technical issues.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other architectural design software.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with value engineering and alternative material proposals is an advantage.
- Willingness to conduct site visits and work in an office-based arrangement.
