Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead the integration of third-party products and services (streaming platforms, applications, games, marketplaces) into In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) systems.
  • Manage technical discussions and development efforts with external suppliers, ensuring alignment with current and future IFE system capabilities.
  • Ensure product integrations deliver on both customer experience goals and business requirements.
  • Support the definition and implementation of personalization strategies across seatback systems and companion applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, UX) to enhance passenger engagement and system usability.
  • Provide technical documentation and clear communication for integration processes, APIs, and development guidelines.
  • Contribute to the ongoing evolution of web infrastructure within the IFE ecosystem.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Strong experience in Java, Spring, and Spring Boot for backend development.
  • Proven expertise in REST API design and integration.
  • Solid understanding of web infrastructure fundamentals, distributed systems, and backend services.
  • Familiarity with personalization engines, recommendation systems, or user experience optimization.
  • Ability to produce high-quality technical documentation for developers, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success in managing third-party integrations and vendor relationships.
  • Problem-solver with strong analytical skills and a customer-centric mindset.
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and project coordination abilities.
