Chedid Capital is looking for a Senior Actuarial Analyst that will lead pricing analyses, update actuarial models, and deliver strategic insights to optimize health insurance portfolios.

Responsibilities
- Contribute to the analysis of tariff adequacy by applying standard actuarial methodologies.
- Participate in the pricing analysis of group and individual health contracts based on claims data.
- Update existing actuarial models (trends, loss ratios, key indicators).
- Perform portfolio analyses (claims, evolution).
- Conduct data analyses to identify gaps, trends, or pricing issues.
- Carry out basic analyses on abuse, fraud, and health overconsumption.
- Prepare actuarial reports for internal and external requests (insurers, brokers, clients).
- Assist in conducting benchmarks and competitive analyses.
- Use standard statistical and actuarial models to analyze data (Excel, SQL, Power BI).
- Update and ensure data quality in dedicated systems.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of calculation and reporting tools.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and explanatory documents for decision-makers.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand needs and provide necessary analyses.
Requirements
- University studies in actuarial science.
- Minimum of 4 years experience specifically in health actuarial work.
- Languages: fluency in French and English.
- Mathematics and Statistics Skills: Mastery of quantitative methods to model and assess risks.
- Programming and Technology Skills: Proficiency in languages such as SQL, Power BI; excellent command of Excel and VBA; strong interest in new technologies.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex data, draw meaningful conclusions, and solve problems.
