Skills Provision is searching for a Senior Accountant for an organisation in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Position Overview

• Oversee daily financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliation activities.
• Prepare financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, ensuring alignment with IFRS standards and applicable local regulations.
• Monitor budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow to inform strategic decision-making at the management level.
• Maintain full compliance with ZATCA requirements, including VAT, Withholding Tax, and other relevant Saudi fiscal obligations.
• Liaise with external auditors and stakeholders to facilitate statutory audits and regulatory reporting.
• Contribute to internal governance frameworks, financial control processes, and the integration of ERP systems, including People365.
• Deliver financial analysis and reports to senior management, identifying key risks and potential opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience

• A bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline. Professional certification, such as CPA, CMA, or SOCPA, is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 to 7 years progressive experience in accounting, ideally gained within the Saudi Arabian market.
• In-depth understanding of IFRS, Saudi tax legislation, and corporate governance frameworks.
• Proficient in ERP and accounting software, with advanced competency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and organisational abilities, coupled with clear and effective communication skills.
• Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Arabic is considered advantageous.
