Senior Accountant

RTC Consultancy

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full spectrum of accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS/GAAP regulations.
  
• Coordinate with internal departments across company divisions to ensure business alignment.
  
• Manage accounts receivable effectively, ensuring timely collection and proper reconciliation.
  
• Coordinate with clients and the PRO to resolve billing or documentation purposes.
  
• Handle payroll processing in accordance with UAE labour and wage protection regulations.
  
• Liaise with banks and insurance companies for transactions, facilities, and policy management.
  
• Prepare and review financial reports, statements, and reconciliations.
  
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, and expenditure to support business decision-making.
  
• Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory requirements, and audit standards.
  
• Supervise junior accounting staff and provide guidance as needed.
  
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance financial efficiency.
  
• Perform other duties and special assignments as directed by management.

  Requirements:
  

  • Bachelor s Degree in Accounting (Master s or professional certification is an advantage).
    
  • Minimum 15 years of accounting experience, with at least 10 years in the UAE.
    
  • Strong knowledge of UAE accounting practices, VAT, and compliance standards.
    
  • Proven experience in:
    
  • a) Accounts receivable collection
    
  • b) Client and PRO coordination
    
  • c) Payroll processing
    
  • d) Bank and insurance dealings
    
  • e) Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, MS Office, ERP Software and other accounting software.
    
  • Must be currently in the UAE and able to join within one month.
