Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Maintain and oversee day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring accurate recording of all accounting entries in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations, enabling informed management decision-making.
  • Conduct detailed account reconciliations and variance analyses to identify discrepancies and implement corrective measures promptly.
  • Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring adherence to timelines and accuracy of entries to maintain financial integrity.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections, utilizing historical data to support strategic financial planning and business growth.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Coordinate with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations and compliance.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and improve accounting efficiency.
  • Support management with financial reports, analysis, and recommendations to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; a Master's degree is a plus for advanced understanding.
  • CPA certification is highly preferred, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and professional standards.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in a corporate or public accounting environment.
  • Experience in industry-specific accounting practices, such as manufacturing or healthcare, is advantageous.
