Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Accountability Activities General Accounting:

Maintain and update accounting records, ledgers, and supporting documentation for all assigned companies.

Prepare and post routine journal entries including accruals, prepayments, and adjustments.

Perform monthly account reconciliations (bank, receivables, payables, and intercompany) and resolve discrepancies.

Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded and classified according to the company s chart of accounts.

Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of submissions. Financial Reporting

Support in preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports and analysis for assigned entities.

Compile and organize financial data for management reviews and consolidation purposes.

Assist in the preparation of project cost summaries and basic variance analysis.

Maintain documentation and schedules to support reported figures. Payables, Receivables & Cash Transactions

Review and process supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy, approval, and timely posting.

Prepare payment requests, monitor due dates, and support vendor reconciliations.

Prepare and issue customer invoices and follow up on outstanding receivables when required.

Support day-to-day banking activities, including deposits, transfers, and reconciliations.

Maintain proper filing of financial and payment documents for audit readiness. Compliance & Audit Support

Ensure adherence to internal accounting policies and procedures.

Prepare necessary documentation and assist during internal or external audit reviews.

Support the implementation of recommendations from auditors and finance management.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications/Requirements Education & Certification:

Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Experience:

Minimum of 5 7 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior role overseeing multiple entities or projects. Other:

Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, and project accounting.

Experience in managing budgets, cost control, and financial analysis.

Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy.

Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet strict deadlines.
