Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes in alignment with organizational goals.
- Coordinate and support internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
- Monitor and reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and other financial accounts.
- Ensure compliance with relevant tax laws, regulations, and internal financial policies.
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance efficiency and mitigate risk.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business decision-making.
- Prepare and submit timely tax filings, VAT returns, and other statutory reports as required.
- Mentor and guide junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years and up to 7 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proven expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced office environment.
- Strong communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
- Demonstrated integrity and commitment to ethical financial practices.
