Senior Accountant

Role Overview:

The Senior Accountant will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensure the accuracy of financial records, manage general ledger entries, and support the preparation of financial reports. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and compliance with financial regulations to support the financial health of iVein Clinics.

Key Responsibilities: 1. Financial Accounting & Reporting

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Ensure accurate posting of transactions into the accounting system.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable processes to maintain timely payments and collections.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

2. Budgeting & Forecasting

• Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts in collaboration with the Finance Manager.
• Monitor budget variances and provide analysis for cost control.

3. Compliance & Audit

• Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and provide necessary documentation.
• Prepare VAT and tax filings as required.

4. Process Improvement

• Identify areas for process improvement within financial operations.
• Support implementation of best practices for efficiency and accuracy.
